"Encouraging Academic Success Through Nutrition and Healthy Eating"

ChainBreakers, Inc. launched "Food for Thought" in September 2016 intended to impact the children of Portsmouth, Virginia. Food 4 Thought was created to encourage academic success through nutrition and healthy eating. We believe that children learn best when their bellies are full and their bodies are well nourished.

ChainBreakers provides nutritious breakfasts for school-age CHILDREN, which are prepared by a Certified Chef who has graciously agreed to donate her time and knowledge.

Sock It To Poverty

Our "Sock It To Poverty" program is an annual drive to help the homeless in Portsmouth. Through this program, we partner with other local non-profits to provide warm socks, coats, clothing and toiletries to those who may need them. This program accepts generous donations all year, and distributes supplies, clothing, and toiletries during winter months.
